he's never had any type of asthma and that's why we are all still in shock. it's just so freaking frustrating. hopefully it wont take too long. i'll support him through everything, but i want him home at the same time. i'm praying this wont take long. i'm praying the captain looks at his letter right away tomorrow and everything will be ok. what makes it worse...we were supposed to be leaving tomorrow to head to chicago...and it's his moms birthday. :( she's so upset too.

it could take days..to dare i say it..months:'( chances are it won't take months..but the navy moves at their own pace. it just takes time for an appeal to go through. hang tight girly. if he's gone through all of that with no issues i don't see why they wouldn't release him unless it was sports enduced asthma and it was dormant for a really long time, and really mild...

it sucks that they do this less than a week before he was supposed to graduate. do you know how long this process can take to appeal it? because we have no idea. the only good thing is getting to talk to him for 20 mins everyday. and i want him to fight this because i feel it's so wrong...he even passed the gas chamber with no problem. but at the same time...i'm just ready to see him and be home. i know it's selfish...and i didn't tell him this...i'll support him no matter what. just frustrated. where can i find more information about this?

if he doesn't show having asthma then they will probably put him into the next closest PIR group.. C was said to have diabetes...but he doesn't. They took him and seperated him too..luckly it was close enough to the beginning of basic that they threw him back in with his PIR..hang tight girl! Hope you get news soon!
