Talked with Stephen tonight for 2 minutes he is working nights now, I will have to find out more but still 12 hour a day, when we called we woke him up, we laughed how many times has he woken up his parents.lol

Well that is true, but Stephen never had any problems, things went smooth sailing for him. I hope he gets what he wants, just want him to be happy.

Thanks, everyone! Hi AnnieJ, Jill, Sue and Pam. How is everyone?

Jill what is going on with your sailor?

AnnieJ when will you sailor be home?

Hey Pam, what is new, I haven't heard from Stephen since Wed. I mailed him a goodie box on Sat., will see how long until he gets it.

Hi AnnieJ, it has been so hard, we were communicating with skype and it was great because I could see him and I loved that. Yes you would think someone there would be able to fix it.lol They all do work with computers. He was on line with Best Buy and they could not get it to work, and he has been working on this for a few weeks. Very frustrating! I miss talking with him and see him. Skype is the best! He is rather new so I don't know if he know anyone who could fix it for him, but it only turns on in saft mode. The computer is not even a month old, I feel Best Buy should give him a new one, I am hoping they will pay for his postage, I will keep you updated. How are things going for you? I am glad you are here.

Well Stephen has to mail his computer home he cannot fix it, so I wonder how long this is going to take, well at least we are moving forward. Hope everyone is fine, take care!

Pam, Stephen got a phone, it cost him 16cents to call anyone on base just to connect and he can talk all day, and 60cents to call home per minute, so we will watch how long we talk, working on his computer today, he is off and if he cannot fix it he is going to mail it home. But he is going good and is loving it, and he has food in his refrigerator, peanut butter and jelly, hot pockets, bread, lunchmeat, chips and dip and he mention a few other things but I have forgotten (the mind is the first thing to go)lol He has made a lot of good friends and is looking into taking class but has to wait until this session is over with. So things are moving along, he will be there a month already onthe 8th. How is Dre doing?

Hi Sue! Hi Jill!

Hi Annie, welcome to our group, glad to have you. My son has been down there for almost a month, and is loving it. He has been having problems with his computer so he is not a happy camper.lol Just got a phone well see how that works. We were using skype until him computer broke that is the best way to talk with our sailors. My son is Stephen and has his own room and would also love his own place, meaning his own place with a kitchen. I think you have to be an E4 before you can move off of base. Do you have a son or daughter? Any questions just ask we will do the best we can.
