Hi Pam, thanks for all of the information it really helps. Stephen said that he is in a room by himself. Stephen did not get to Italy until Sunday, maybe he is thinking of someone else??? Or maybe he meant Sunday. Stephen likes to work out so maybe they can go together, you can never have too many friends when you are so far away. Stephen does like the pool, yes he said it was a small base. I am glad your son will be starting work soon, he is probably ready to start. Yes they do like to wear civilian clothes that is for sure. You have been a big help. Do you plan on going to Italy for a visit?

Oh boy, I guess they are going to have to learn how to get along down there. I do not like that they eat out all the time either, Stephen just lost 25 lbs and probably could lose another 10 so he does not want to gain any. Dre saw my son? Stephen does know 2 boys down there so that is nice. I will tell him about the bus, thanks! I will keep you updated with Stephen's travels and lost luggage.lol What a pain, I really feel bad for him. Do they have microwaves in their rooms? Stephen says he has to buy a shower curtain also. I want him back home. lol When does he start his job? What does he do all day?

Pam it sounds like you son is doing great. Well my poor Stephen has been in an airport since Friday. His flight out of Chicago was delayed an 1-1/2 hour so when he got into GA, he flight left. So he booked another one and by the time he got to the other side of the airport the plane left. Delta would not do anything for him so he slept in the USO office, got up to take his 7:00 flight and was told no seat was saved for him. So I am wondering why no one is calling and looking for him he has missed three flights. He called P-Cola talked with his old boss and he said he would let Naples know what was going on because Stephen could not get a whole of any one, we could not either and his sponsor never returned his phone calls. So today is Satursday and around 1:00 Stephen's new boss called and said that the sponsor reported him missing so he was looking for him, so my husband explained everything, and he understood he says it happens all of the time. Now his next plane to Rome was today (Sat) at 4:15 and took off an 1/2 hour late. OH BOY! I hope he makes his next flight to Naples. Yes skype works really well we have tried it out already. Have a wonderful Mother's Day!

Hi Ladies, how is everyone? Sue so your son is gone, I bet he will love it. Medical Field that is wonderful, yes I bet he is glad to be out of GL, the weather here is just getting nice. I am glad there is a few of us here.

Hi Pan, good to hear from you. Stephen just bought a new computer with a web cam in it and a micro-phone, and we bought a web cam and set it up last night and we can see each other and talk just like we are on the phone. We have version but we are shutting his phone off onces he gets to Italy it is way to expensive, we are still looking into things, yes if anyone finds out anything lets share. Pam thanks for the information I will tell Stephen tonight. Oh Pam this is going to be very hard as you ladies know, but I well live and life will go on but I will miss him. We are plannng on going to Italy hopefully next May once my daughter gets out of school. Oh Pam we are using Skype and it is free, I love that word FREE. I wanted to thank your sailor for serving our county and God Bless both of them. Lets keep in touch! There is a base in Siclily (sp) which is an island and Stephen said that there is also a sub base out there. The waters are not deep enough for the subs so they are near the island.

Pam, I am so sorry to hear that, that is terrible. My son leaves the 8th of May. He PIR from GL 1-15-09. Have you heard from your son. Well so far it looks like you and me, I am glad you around. I did ask my son if he knew anyone in your picture but he did not, but I did not know your son wanted to be a seal. I am sorry it did not work out for him. Your son is already down there, Stephen will be right behind him. Talk with you soon.
