Hi Pam!
Emily - I have heard that some sponsor's can be bad and I know my son has also become one a time or two and he's been there a little over a year. Hopefully B.J. will get this all straightend out and I do remeber him taking classes when he first got over there on where to go, where not to go, what to say, what not to say.... It really is a great place to be if you want to "see" Europe. What is B.J's job rate?
You are in GA are you an hour ahead of me here in Chicago, IL?
Here is his email iceman974@comcast.net. Yes please send me his phone number to me and I will give it to Stephen. I think it would probably be easier to talk then email. I know Stephen is working late tonight. Where are you? I was thinking of different times where we live. Here is my email dcollins@cajetan.org. I know your son will love it out there.
Emily, my son had a terrible sponsor, he was lucky because he had a friend out there and he helped him, They are (the sponsor) are suppose to meet them at the airport Stephen's did not, plus his bags came a week after he arrived. They do have an INDOC that really helps, tells them where to go and not to go that helps a lot. Stephen loved Italy. Stephen also became a sponor because he had such a bad on. If you son wants to talk to mind let me know. He can help him out but I know your son will do just great. Best of luck to him. Start saving your money so you can go visit. Don't worry about him, I have seen the base and they are very safe. Any questions just ask.
Hi Debbie! I have too much going on in the way of traveling this year. I have family in Ireland and there's a wedding in August that I'm trying to plan for. It may be easier for Jamie just to fly up to Dublin for the wedding. Which he won't mind doing. ;)
I would really love to see him and see where he's been living and meet all the people he works with.
Just dropped in to say hi, hope everyone is doing well, I have been thinking of all of you. Take care!
You know Pam I had the same problem with Stephen sometime, then we would have to type to each other on skype not as much fun. lol Yes you should go see you sailor, we had the best time when we went. It was an amazing trip and to see Stephen since it was almost 2-1/2 years since we had seen him.
Thanks Debbie - I'm ok. We have been having so many problems with Skype the last couple of months that it's not even worth trying. Our video is good, but nine times out of ten, he can't hear us. I think I'm just ready for a visit!
Hi to everyone! How is everyone doing? How are your sailor's doing?
