My son is in flight right now, heading for San Antonio.  Class will not start for him until March 1.  I'm just so excited that we will be able to communicate via cell phone and facebook very soon!!!

Bexwest- that's how I have been addressing my packages and they seem to arrive just fine!

Not real sure.  He went to A school in Virginia instead of San Antonio.  Not sure if that had something to do with it.  Yep, not much available on MSRON.

Brenda Sue

I was wondering how your son got MSRON?  My son said he heard that it is really hard and there isn't alot of information out there.  My son just arrived in SA and still learning the different duties available to him

My son arrived the MA school on the 12th, class supposed to start on Tuesday.  He gave me his address, but I wanted to check to see if I had it right:

Rating/name

PSC 3, 1320 Truemper St

Lackland AFB, TX 78236

Does that sound like I have it formatted right?  thanks!

Anita, I asked in the Texas' Moms room about that hotel.  Here is her reply:

Brenda Sue... That HOJO should be fine... the area is industrial.... obviously the bases, but also heading toward Sea World... it won't be the lovely part of San Antonio but it should be fine. I will join... thanks for the heads up.

I told her that she should join this group to help answer specific questions about San Antonio.  Although, I am from Texas and have been to and through San Antonio hundreds of times - I am not that familiar with the specifics of it (especially since my son didn't go to A school there).

Jaime - I was there in January for my son's graduation.  The "barracks" actually look more like an apartment complex - not "clinical."  lol  Here's a picture of building.  It's not a big complex and the rooms are more dorm-like, from what I was told (I didn't go into the room myself, but my husband did) and only two people per unit, with a small kitchenette; microwave, mini fridge and small sink.
