Is anyone elses child going to WA station? My daughter is upset that she didnt get overseas orders...Im not. She can grow up a little more before taking that big of an adventure. Its beautiful up there and I think shell really enjoy it once she gets there.  Its pretty far way but not around the world.

thanks Anita! and congrats to your son.  my daughter is considering the same field. looking forward to any info i can get about the graduation.  my biggest concern is not wanting to book my departure flight friday, too early in the day, as not too miss the small ceremony, and a little private time with her.  she knows i have to get back that night, but i would like as much time as possible.

CCO727 - yes, if they are in a port he will both e-mail and Skype with me.  He won't put the camera or speakers on the Skype (just type) because he says he is in a public room.

Graduation from MA school is NOTHING like PIR!  I'm still glad I went though.  I can't help with scheduling - mine was in Virginia three years ago.  I bet it is in the morning (and my son got to spend the rest of the weekend with me).

Hi Michellesmom, our son graduates on March 18th. He told us that it is a small ceremony held in the morning.....that is all I know. We are going to get airline tickets soon and probably stay in a hotel by the River Walk. I hope that helps. Does your daughter get to come home for a few weeks after MA school?
