If I remember right, they can't go over 50 miles away from base on Liberty.

They don't get off base liberty when they first get there they have to phase up first...the holidays are different as far as them being able to leave for some days it will just depend ....Ive heard some get to leave on the 17th and have to come back the 28th....heard some have to stay till the 20th and be back the 30th...and some have to stay till the 24th and be back the 1st....its confusing but they will have all the info because they have to turn in a request form

Hey Deneen/Superwoman...Superwoman that's what my son said. He didnt want to have all that time in the beginning. So I think they have the option of taking it or remaining on campus. He's wondering since Christmas falls on a Sat if he can just do like a four day weekend. He says weekends are liberty already..I'm guessing if this is the case...Fri and Mon should be good enough for him to fly home and save some days for later.

I don't know what she is going to do. Maybe she'll let me know. who knows.

Deneen, I was told that they have a couple of options. They can have time off up until Jan 3rd. They basically have to choose a slot of time. My hubby's taking the 20th thru the 27th.They have to keep in mind that its personal time and they may be in he hole if they take too many days. This will allow him to come home for a week before going to the first duty station.

So how much time do they have off for the holidays?
