Thank you for answering so fast, I am waiting for his final phone call before he boards, maybe there is still time to buy it.

He can have a back pack if it is black with no markings on it too. My son was told no but at airport was told yes. We live close to the airport so he was able to take his back pack, computer and phone with all the chargers.

Well, my son is at the airport waiting to board his plane to San Antonio. He wanted to know if he could buy an Ipod for the plane ride there and take it on base with him. He only has a white plastic bag (Didn't know they could buy a back pack). Any answers real fast? Thanks

Brad ended week 2 today. So far, so good! His romm mate graduated today, so I he has his dorm to himself (for now). I also sent my son his BC. He told me it was for their passpports (which makes since, has to be the original copy). My son has internet through his phone and tethar's it to his laptop.
Sorry to hear about Sam, praying for a pass next Friday!
Congrats to Zach on sharpshooter!

Thank you Susan and Rhonda for the info, he said he can use his cell service for internet also but if it's 60$ and they chip in that's not so bad either. My husband (many, many moons ago) did his BC there for the Air Force and jus didn't know if it was a barracks or hotel or what the Navy used. My nephew who is a doctor in the Navy had to go to San Antonio too for a bit. He thought when he got there he was in the wrong place. I guess no one told him it's an Air Force base. Ah, they probably did...

My son has never asked for his birth certificate at A school. He also doesn't pay for internet service, he can get it through his phone. He says some guys go under the staircase and can pick up a signal???
