Davids grama, "A" School is 7 weeks once your then Sailor classes up. It is common for Sailors to be there for 9 weeks. See Break down week by week.

Stayed at the gateway inn. The one on the opposite side of the road from their side of the base. That's the one for visitors. There are three and they are for specific groups. Just call and tell them what you are coming for. Everyone was very helpful. Because of a major issue with his class he didn't get to meet us at the security place but since we were on the list we got our gate passes without him being there. Had a nice time. Room was nice and clean and staff was very friendly and helpful,

Momof2--I stayed at the Gateway Inn in June when my husband graduated.  I wasn't sure how to book online either so I just called them and I had no problems.  Hope that helps!!

I don't know which is the one for you either.  VAQ is Visiting Airman Quarters. VOQ/TLF is Visiting Officer's Quarters/Temporary Lodging Facility. ISQ is International Student Quarters. I don't know about KELLY.

When I click on the gateway inn in the link in the graduation thing it asks me to choose one and gives me those 4 choices with abbreviations. I don't know which one to choose.

Momof2, have your Sailor check about the time and also see about a room at the Gateway Inn since he would need to be your sponsor. They don't always have rooms.

What time does the visitors center close? I'm sorry to ask so many questions but since it's an 18 hour drive and I may end up sleeping in my car I need to know the latest I can get there the day before to get my passes for the base.
