Anyone with apartment recommendations or warnings of where to stay away from for our daughter if she chooses off base housing. She is about to commission and will be sent to Balboa / Naval Hosp SD (she's a nurse), but has no idea about housing. She would like to live alone, but that has it's own concerns too. Any info for an anxious mom about safety / costs / etc will be appreciated!
