RCU SHIP 04 DIV 741

Seamen Recruits are here getting medical treatment for minor injuries. FIT DIV is also in this area.

It's hard not knowing! That is the purpose for this group. Most likely if you are here your SR has had trouble keeping up or not passed a PFA due to some sort of minor medical issue. Often it stress fractures bringing SR's here. Know this when you don’t get a call that is a very good thing. Calling them is not a good thing and it can negatively impact your SR to have his or her “Mommy“ calling!  They are harder on them in this DIV than any other. They want them up and out. The best thing you can do is sends tons of mail. Send scripture and motivational mail. I know my SR said reading the Bible was considered a sign of weakness here. When you get a tearful call motivate. Stay positive and encourage you SR. This is a small detour to greatness and getting the I'm a Sailor call!  Recruit family and friends…“Navy mom friends are the best“…to send your SR mail as well.  NMH for you all!!

WestonsMom, I'm sorry your still waiting. Maybe this coming week will be filled full of good things for you and Weston! Will keep my fingers crossed. I also gave uup on finding the blue flameless candle and opted for just Navy Blue pillar candles. I just have to remember to blow them out. I did find some flameless candles but they were 70 dollars and I'm not spending that.

No call so I guess he didn't get to do Battlestations this week. Hopefully, next week. Maybe I'll know something for sure if he calls this weekend.

The only flameless candles i can find are white or off white, even in the christmas section. I saw the one Scentsy has but it's a warmer and doesn't look like a candle. Finally what I decided to do is buy the white battery operated ones. Found a pack of 3 at Target for $21 (or one candle is $10). I painted all 3 blue. lol Maybe if I leave all 3 lit it'll bring him extra luck. Probably corny but who cares. :) Since I don't know until after the fact about what's going on with Weston and he is so close, I'd like to leave a candle lit at all times right now, just in case. Well....all 3! :)
