It's hard not knowing! That is the purpose for this group. Most likely if you are here your SR has had trouble keeping up or not passed a PFA due to some sort of minor medical issue. Often it stress fractures bringing SR's here. Know this when you don’t get a call that is a very good thing. Calling them is not a good thing and it can negatively impact your SR to have his or her “Mommy“ calling!  They are harder on them in this DIV than any other. They want them up and out. The best thing you can do is sends tons of mail. Send scripture and motivational mail. I know my SR said reading the Bible was considered a sign of weakness here. When you get a tearful call motivate. Stay positive and encourage you SR. This is a small detour to greatness and getting the I'm a Sailor call!  Recruit family and friends…“Navy mom friends are the best“…to send your SR mail as well.  NMH for you all!!

Trust me ladies I know you are after my son being there for over 7 weeks I know full well what your thinking he is in A school still running every other day and they have to PFA every week.... anytime he says his legs are hurting I'm totally freaked out inside worrying about his knee. Hold on to the positive and we will all keep praying.

Talked to Weston Thursday. He said he ran for the first time Monday. He said his legs have been sore since. He should be doing his PFA soon. I so hope he doesn't reinjure himself.

Kassie73...who is your son?

Colten's Mom...they should be calling tomorrow.

sbarber....thank you but I think we're both nervous at this point! lol

Hi ladies!  My son has met both of your boys and he said he and weston are like two peas in a pod.  He gave me some good news today, it sounds like he is healing quickly and getting ready to put him in phase 3 already.  He also said since he already passed his final PFA, he doesn't have to go into phase 4 and they are thinking he could be done by mid October.  I hope you boys are doing well, I know they are getting so close as well and Westonsmom, I hope he doesn't get injured again.

westonsmom&coltensmom: I wish you both all the best, I know how hard this is especially when you are only getting part f your ?'s answered. @westonsmom he has been doing some running in phase 3 already if he can't pass the medical PFA he won't go onto phase out of RCU and please remember he will have to do the PFA with a unit as well. I was so scared when my son was at this point for the exact same reasons, I didn't know however until aftewords that he had to repeat the PFA after doing the medical PFA and now that he is in A school they are doing the PFA everyweek. So what I'm trying to say is tell him to be sure he is ready and healed not to push hisself to hard as he has all of this to still do. Best wishes & prayers to both of you and your SR's.
