It's hard not knowing! That is the purpose for this group. Most likely if you are here your SR has had trouble keeping up or not passed a PFA due to some sort of minor medical issue. Often it stress fractures bringing SR's here. Know this when you don’t get a call that is a very good thing. Calling them is not a good thing and it can negatively impact your SR to have his or her “Mommy“ calling!  They are harder on them in this DIV than any other. They want them up and out. The best thing you can do is sends tons of mail. Send scripture and motivational mail. I know my SR said reading the Bible was considered a sign of weakness here. When you get a tearful call motivate. Stay positive and encourage you SR. This is a small detour to greatness and getting the I'm a Sailor call!  Recruit family and friends…“Navy mom friends are the best“…to send your SR mail as well.  NMH for you all!!

Last Thursday my son injured his shoulder during IT.  The doc called it a "Chicken Wing" injury and put my son in Ship 04 Div 2341.  I haven't heard from him at all and I am so concerned.  When are they allowed to call home?

Peggy Sue- you found us- I commented on your post as well as Aaronsmon! We're both on that page simply because it's not busy on this one.

Good afternoon Liz'smom ship 14 div 179, I believe I found the correct face book page. I shared my update on it, so please check later on to see if I commented on the correct page. Great news about your daughter, and hope you do receive a letter today!

Good Morning- did you find the fb group- If not I'll sign in at home and share it with you.  It's Thursday- hoping for another letter- I usually receive one on Mondays and thursdays now- hmm- more letters than when she was in actual BC- My daughter will not need to shadow another division, as she has completed everything except the PFA and BS21- so praying she will heal properlay and get these last obstacles done- Praying for all in this group to either get calls or letters today.

AaronsMom, You are such an awesome supportive mom and I know your son so appreciates it! Keep up the good work, and just know in time it will all work out. Sending out prayers for all who are in RCU.

PeggySue, I think that is one of the funny things. I sent him off with a book of stamps and when he called saying he was going into RCU I asked him what he needed and he said "stamps" At that point, he had mailed one letter! So now I have sent him 2 books of stamps, a USPS medium size care package with a flat rate stamped envelope in it because he wanted to send some of his mail home, I have mailed him 2 questionnaires that all he has to do is fill in the blanks and still nothing! I can just hear him, "if I just had my computer, cell phone, anything electronic"  lol I have no idea what he is really going through so I will just continue to support him and encourage him until I get to see him again. Thanks for your encouragement. I am so glad I have my computer so I can stay in touch with the other loved ones going through the same thing!
