It's hard not knowing! That is the purpose for this group. Most likely if you are here your SR has had trouble keeping up or not passed a PFA due to some sort of minor medical issue. Often it stress fractures bringing SR's here. Know this when you don’t get a call that is a very good thing. Calling them is not a good thing and it can negatively impact your SR to have his or her “Mommy“ calling! They are harder on them in this DIV than any other. They want them up and out. The best thing you can do is sends tons of mail. Send scripture and motivational mail. I know my SR said reading the Bible was considered a sign of weakness here. When you get a tearful call motivate. Stay positive and encourage you SR. This is a small detour to greatness and getting the I'm a Sailor call! Recruit family and friends…“Navy mom friends are the best“…to send your SR mail as well. NMH for you all!!

I heard from my recruit today. He was moved to phase 3. :-) We are both excited and can't wait until he is moved to phase 4. His orginal graduation date was July 27th, so I was thrilled to see posts of other recruits on facebook who graduated. It's been wonderful to hear him stay positive through his healing process from having stress fractures in both legs. Hang in there everyone, and remind everyone you know to send letters and cards to your recruit to keep them uplifted through this journey along with prayers for healing.
I must apologize for the long absence... too many things, too little time. I heard from my sailor yesterday and he is good spirits. He will be doing his medical PFA this week, and if he passes that, will be off to his final PFA and Battlestations. Yay!
Navyknitt22 & Madeline - Brion told me that he made many friends while on laundry duty while in Div 2341; he mentioned both Kyle and Eric. I hope that they keep in touch (I hope that we do too!)
I will keep all our sailors in my prayers.
Pax.
Madeline.... Congratulations on the news that Kyle is moving to a new division. It shouldn't be too long now before he finishes. This really is wonderful to hear. Soon he will be in San Antonio and well on his way with his A-School.
Hi TwoForTheNavy... I was also at the Inland Empire Mom's get together on Saturday, but you must have been sitting at the other end of the table and I didn't get a chance to talk with you. Next time, definitely!!! Glad to hear that things are looking better for your son. No fractures is great to hear.
We will be able to communicate, just not sure exactly how yet. It may be through skype and we can call and text. We worked that out last week. It will just be kind of expensive. I will be okay, I think as long as I can hear from him at least once every week or so to know he is okay.
Congrats, Madeline. I know Kyle will do well. Looking forward to the updates and how our SR's are doing. Will continue to keep him in our prayers.
Navyknitt22...If you didn't cross over, I would be very surprised. I was the mailbox stalker on Thursdays. That is when our letters came. Know exactly how you feel. Will continue to keep Eric in our prayers.
Please add our son to your list. He ships out for overseas on Tues for 3 years. Mom is a little sad, but excited for him at the same time. He is doing what he wants to do. Hugs and Prayers, Susan
