But you got extra time.with your daughter Shuga. Not only that, nut you're laying over in Dallas. Hello, that's a good thing. I could ne biased. I grew up just north of Dallas, so did my kids. Then, my husband moves us to the sticks... I still have my hair done there every few months.
My son had his flight cancelled. I had myself talked into an overnight. Even told my husband to call the Hilton. They put him on an earlier flight. I actually broke down, clung to him and begged him not to leave me. I don't know what I was thinking. I was very proud of him. He just held me and gave me a hug right in front of all his sailor buddies.
We have been driving all day, and we are still 100 miles from home.

We went to the T-Mobile store yesterday. The salesman was all ready to sign my kid up and he was going to let him until I started asking what exactly is the military discount. I tripped him up twice.at this point when he couldn't tell me if it was off of the phone or the bill. Then I nicely pointed out to my boy that he would pay $200 upfront for a phone. Ok they were going to waive the activation fee, but so does everyone else. At the end of 20 months, he will have paid an additional $400 for the phone. In fine print it was stated that the data package is limited. The rep said that T-Mobile has a contract with the Navy and that's why my son needed to go with them. I told him he wasn't doing anyone any favors and I could get a better deal online. At this point my husband walked in and the man turned to him thinking he'd get somewhere. Brad asked them how he could put all of my sons's contacts in a new phone. The rep wanted a copy of my son's military I.d. My husband told him no, that its against Tue law to copy a.military I.d. we ended up leaving. If my kid would have been alone. He would have an overpriced phone and stuck with a.big bill for 2 years.

Yes it is. They should have to go through their mothers until at least 27. These young ones are drunk on freedom and don't know any better. It's not just in the military, its the colleges as well.

the really sad part is all these companies tell these kids that they'll get good deals being in the military, blah, blah, blah, blah.  buy a car here, easy payments, no credit check, rent your furniture, computer, stereo, etc, easy payments, no credit check.  on and on and on.  what they don't disclose is that if they don't make the payments, or get behind in the payments all the creditor has to do is contact their command and they will get paid.  they know they'll get their money from the military folks.  it's really sad

I can't. I have 4 1/2 more hours to go before we're back home. And guess what??? We are driving in rain. We have had 110* weather and no rain in sight. Hopefully it will follow us home. My boy is trying to sweet talk me into the new iPhone coming out and stay on our plan. Just what I wanted him to do...
I'll tell ya'll the secret ladies. Give them the facts. Then give them their choices and what their mama would like for them to do,, since we only have their best interests at heart...LOL.
