Your sailor turns your name in on a list. It seems to be similar ot PIR except I believe you can have more guests. I was told it was Friday morning. Your right they need support. A school is tough but from what I have been told power school is worse. I get a brief 5 min call on Friday letting me know when and if he will be able to skype on Sundays. Not a lot of communication at all. I do know that thye have a lot of extra study they have to do this week and weekend to prepare for comps. If you wamt to surprise your sailor I can try to get ahold of my sailor and have you added to his list.

Hi Pennie,

I am thinking of going down for A school grad on the 20th.  Do you know how we go about getting clearance to get on base for the event, or, what time it is.  I get very little communication from my Sailor, but get the feeling he could use some support.

Thanks!

Yes I will be attending the A school graduation. I am fortunate that I only live about 5 and a half hours away so short trips to Goose Creek are not out of the question.

I hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas and Happy and safe New Year!

Its been crazy here, all the repairs to my house from the storms in June are finally finished, My sailor came home for Christmas.  It was so hard to say goodbye after having him home for 10 days.  But I will be in Goose Creek in 2 weeks to see him graduate A school.  Then the real crazy stuff begins my youngest is performing on stage at Disney World in March have serveral school band things going on for the next few months and then to top it all off she will graduate High School.  What will I do when she does.  My kids for the past 20 years have been my hobby.  I am going to have to find a new one.
