Hello everyone, Have just added a new group called Los Angeles Region. We are going to try to have our first Meet & Greet Jan 21 somewhere near Santa Monica or the 405 & 10 intersection. More details to follow. Would love some help and members. As we get closer to the date, I will come back here and give more details.
I know it is far away, but my son is PIR in Nov, then there is Thanksgiving and the Holidays,,, and before you know it, it is January! Please pencil in the date if you think you can make it.
Thanks JI-ISmom - it's good to hear from someone whose gone through PIR at Thanksgiving. I was wondering if he may end up staying through the entire weekend. I'll have to look into the cost of staying all weekend long and see if I can swing it.
Hi Jenn, I have been through 2 PIR's and flew into Milwaukee both times. Great airport to get to GL. I also had a son Grad on Thanksgiving. They gave them from Graduation until they had to report on Sunday with the families so we had him for almost 5 days. He flew out to his A school on the next Monday for Virginia. I have no idea if they plan on giving them that much time again this year, but it turned out wonderfully for us last year since we weren't scheduled to fly home until Sunday afternoon.
Is anyone elses kids Graduating boot camp on Nov 23rd?? HOW are you getting a flight during Thanksgiving week and where are you staying and how long do we get with our kids??
