Hi everyone! My sailor is having his PIR tomorrow. I am sitting here thinking how LUCKY I am that my son will be at A school here in my home state. That should make it easier for us to see him occasionally over the next 18 months that he is here. He will only be 3 hours from our hometown, so Im super excited. I was not able to make it to his PIR so trust me as soon as he gets here and he gets the ok to have visitors on base or to have liberty off base this mama is gonna hug him soooooo tight and prob cry my eyes out cuz Im so PROUD of him and SO HAPPY he is close to home! Yay SC lol. Hope yall are having a great night :) anyone on here close to Aiken?

Southcarolinamom the phone calls would be a great help!! I just need to know what stores etc so I can pick them up..... Where they are and everything. Or they can send them on over to the Fleet and Family Sevices this week and they will get with me on delivering them as they are the ones helping me to get the cookies delivered.

To all the others that have offered to help etc. anything and everything is much appreciated!! I have started receiving some things from around my home but nothing else.... Please let me know for sure if you can help so I can plan accordingly!

Thanks so much for everything! GOd bless!

I am in Charleston so let me know what I can do to assist.  Both of our sons are on deployment for Christmas so we will be out of town at our daughter's in Georgia.  Do you have someone here who the cookies can be delivered to ahead of Christmas Eve?

Are you taking them to GC? I went this past Saturday and delivered bags of goodies to some sailors of moms who are on NFM Nuke school.
It was great.
