OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Follow this link for OPSEC Guidelines:

I thought it would be nice to have a group for southern mom's. I live in Pearl Ms and my son joined the navy on March 11,2008. He is my baby and only son so it has really been a roller coaster ride for me. I hope that we all can stick together and share our good times with each other. thanks for joining and let me know if you have any suggestions for the group. Please Intoduce yourself and where you are from.
