Hi Southern Moms!

We are in the early stages of planning a N4Ms gathering in the Atlanta area and hoping that many of you will be able to join us. We will keep you posted on the details.

Hello everyone! I'm Kathy, from just south of Austin, TX. My daughter, Sara Jane, left on 7/1 and my son, Tyler, left on 7/8! I haven't heard from Ty yet, but I have had 2 calls from Sara Jane! Both have written letters too. I can't wait till they have their phones back! :) They haven't seen each other yet either, and probably won't, but even if they did, they wouldn't be allowed to "fraternize" :( Both wants to see the other one "just one time" and they said they'd feel better. It must be strange to know the other is there somewhere and never see them!! Anyway, I'm glad I found this group!! :)

LOL - I don't think I ever heard of sweet tea until we moved to Atlanta 15 years ago. Now it's a staple!

Welcome to Southern Moms - delighted that you are here. I'm in the suburbs of Atlanta but originally from Michigan. After being here 17 yrs. it is as close to home as it can be.

We have a daughter away at college and our son just did his PIR on 4/25 and is starting A school in GL. I'm an old Navy wife as well, if I can be of any help - please let me know.
