Hello. Does anybody know a place where I can stay in Pensacola that offers weekly rates? Happy Thanksgiving. :)Continue

Also, do yall usually/do you plan on renting a car? He and I are just under 25, so we would have to pay a higher fee for that. I really don't want to rent one. Since I will probably fly into P'cola, I can take a shuttle or taxi to him. What do yall think?
What airline do yall use to visit? Southwest doesn't fly into P'cola. I've been looking at US Airways. From Charlotte, NC to P'cola it's 268 round trip and they have a 25 charge for 1 bag. Does this sound like a "good" deal? He should be in phase 3 definitely by June 24. I'm going to fly down the Friday after because they are off that Monday for July 4th and fly back to NC the following Tuesday. I asked about duty and he said when he finds out his duty schedule he will switch if he does have that weekend. Reminds me, how far in advance do they find out their schedule? Weekly?
A couple of questions:
My boyfriend has been in P'cola since April 23 and found out last week he will start school (IT ATF - Corry Station) Tuesday. He was told he has the "night" classes - 3-11. Is this Monday-Friday or on Fridays do they let them leave earlier if they are in phase three?
Also, he just told me he heard that on Monday July 4th, that would be a three day weekend. Is this true?? Because his phase 3 should start June 24th-ish, and I was going to go then, but if he has a three day weekend, I would rather go the following week. Thanks!
CCIty,
That is a lie. The deal is, they don't like giving it to people. My wife got it and we don't have any kids at all! My neighbor down there got it but it was a pain the butt. Her husband was hassled and threatened with Captains Mast. End the end he was given brown bagger. The deal is this, the Navy cannot tell you as a spouse where you can and cannot live. If you decide to move to where your sailor is in school, then so be it. They do not have to give brown bagger to your sailor, but there really is no reason why they shouldn't. It is for the betterment of the sailor to be with their family.
Don't listen to anybody that says no. If his packet is denied, then it is no, unless he wants to resubmit it. My wife knew a lot of sailors both male and female that were brown bagger, they even have their own separate rooms so they can cram more folks in them. Brown baggers only sleep in the barracks when they have overnight duty. My wife had like 5 or 6 roommates.
Don't worry about what others say, and tell your husband the bantering and crap from his chain of command is just that, words. He won't get in trouble. He won't go to Captains Mast. They are just being a-holes because they can.
