I'm a bit confused. Is he still in Boot Camp?
Yes I pray for he pass test and graduate on time August 11
Depending on his rate, his destination after boot camp may be Groton for Bess or elsewhere for specialty training like culinary. Most go to Groton for BESS (basic enlisted sub school) 8 weeks, ATT school, Techno, then A school - all in all about 10 months before being assigned to a boat. Nukes do have a different route.

What he will really want will be regular clothes, his phone etc. at Groton there are few restrictions on what he can have. My son has never asked for flash light etc.

Don't know if that is of help.
My son mental storage is average, before until 18 yrs old now he always refuse to read, write, just being lazy buy in bed all most his free time. My false is let he alone all day for work no father no brother I always feel sorry because this
Now I advice he join navy and he feel shock when he has to train alots he wanted to quit and go back home and I wrote a lots of letters to encourage him

Now he recognize he need to learn more and more, storage as much as he can for practice in his future
He may scare in submarine when no electric no light in case so he like to have flash light

At home he likes to play with flash light also
My son is a Nuke, he only asked for stamps. He was in Orlando for power school (now closed), Charleston for prototype, he's been at Kings Bay for seventeen years, with the exception of two years of shore duty teaching in Charleston. Have your check what he can have at his next duty station. I'm sure he'll do great in submarine service. I'll be sending positive thoughts his way.
Thank you my problems is so poor English, I try to read a lots of information here , and try to use dictionary to understand you and others.
Because my problem English pronouciation makes my son difficult to understand and conversation with me, he didn't learn my Asian language so he couldn't understand my Asian languages too
Right now I cannot understand all of your meaning,
My on choose the job cook and will go Virginia 9 weeks to study it
I advice him if he not really love it he may dying to ask leaders to change another job
