Submarine moms are special:

--- All of us have boys, "SAILORS!"

 --- Who serve on "boats,"

 --- With whereabouts unknown, and

--- We only get sporadic, short emails while they're out!

Tell us where your sailor serves...

My son is assigned to the USS Kentucky and is now in Washington State. It is quite a distance from Chicago, IL!!!! I did visit him in August, and the area is very lovely.

disappointed to see the last post dated 2008.... my son is newly assigned to Pearl Harbor on the USS Bremerton.  hoping to network with other family members on this boat to keep informed.  my son is just 22 years old, fiercely independent... i just want to know that he's well.

Check with your boat's Ombudsman and make sure he has you signed up as a contact. Some of the subs have private FB groups too. Good luck!
There is a private Facebook group for families who have kids station at Pearl. It is very active and you might have better luck there. It's called Loved Ones of Hawaii Submarine Sailors. There's a form you have to fill out to join. Hope this helps. If you need let me know.
My sailor was stationed to the USS Bremerton in November last year, he's a machinists mate 2nd class. I've received a few emails from him, but nothing for five days now.

My grandson was assigned to the USS Buffalo, a fast attack submarine, stationed in Pearl Harbor.  He loves to surf and hang out on beaches (we live in Texas between Houston and Corpus Christi on Matagorda Bay - so have plenty of beaches).  He's only been in Oahu since November so I am sure he still has a lot to see there.

There are more recent posts. Go to the last page.  I have posted in this discussion myself and only joined N4M in 2009. This discussion can be confusing.

Also there is a fb page for Loved Ones of Hawaii Sailors

My boyfriend is MM 2nd class nuclear, he was stationed in Pearl Harbor Nov 2014. He's on the USS Bremerton. Does anyone know who the ombudsmen is for that sub?

My son Tyler is on the USS Nevada

My son is on the USS Texas, based in Honolulu!

Hi yvonne, my son is USS Nevada Gold Crew!
