OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I can sure understand wanting to know what is going on with our babies....... I asked my son so many question in the beginning and he would tell me I wouldn't understand or the famous .........MOM I already told you that........and one night when we were just hanging out and talking he told me that he loved talking to me because except for the few general questions ....it's great not having to talk about work, he told me everyone always wants to know about his job and where he goes...... I got to say since I have stopped asking so much we have gotten so close we talk for hours and he tells me stuff without even having to ask.........I realize that everyone is very different .. as a mom I just wanted to share another side of the dynamics of their lives....
hope all are having a blessed day

Awww...that's a heckuva compliment - know what you mean though, kids today can barely string two coherent sentences together. My boss thinks I get off track with details, actually...g'night!

No, I think some sailors may be killin' you after their mommas drag them to the computer, point to your posts, and say, "HE can explain it where I understand... why can't YOU?!"
Comment by Mark on February 20, 2009 at 1:55am

That's it, Mark. I'm not waiting for my hubby to get hit by that bus... I'm bringing the casserole over NOW! You like ham or tuna? ;-) k.

Now it makes sense. I am allergic to something in diesal exhaust or fumes. I can't even stand being near a truck stop. So that explains the headache when I get near Alex's stuff. Guess he'll just have to keep doing his own laundry. He did mention the chemical in the scrubber equipment as being a problem for some guys. I guess you never know what can cause some one to have a problem.
