Hi, "Nuts" and welcome to Sub Moms! When you come back to any discussion group (if you left a post), go back to where your post is, and read the posts left since. Because the posts appear first come, first visible, a response back to you may be in between alot of stuff NOT for you.

I had replied to your first post by saying I know of three other MICHIGAN moms around here: Charlotte Brandt, Kama, and Vickie. If you'll type the ship name into the Search box at the top of the page, you should find them easy enough... if not, let me know, I'll help ya'! Hugs! k.

Oh Jan you are in my prayers.... Missing children is like nothing else. When my son's father and I split up he stopped me from seeing his daughters (which I had a live with for 5 years) , and I know this does not make things better for you now , but after 13 years I have found them and they told me I have 6 granchildren they are not really far from me so I got to see them and although there is alot of tension (because of different lifestyles) , but they still call me mom and they tell their children that I'm Noni. And they still carry memories of our years together.
Your sailor sounds like a wonderful, responsible young man I'm sure he will find great joy in his life
huggs
lauren
