OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

WLHats, I am hoping to run into you at the airport as I arrive. My plane lands at 5 ish.

We got a tour of the boat. Thankfully, we got Mrs. H down and up the ladders safely. I got to see a destroyer through the periscope. The sub was bigger than I expected, but I told my son afterward that I was feeling closed in after only a few minutes. He said it was weird at first, and he had some strange dreams, but that one gets used to it.

We also got to see his room at the BEQ. Think college dorm with some years on it. Shabby chic but good enough.

Mynda- my son did a ride along on the Wyoming a couple of years ago - he loved the crew and wanted to transfer to that boat!
