985cat, couldn't help, but let the tears flow as well after we dropped our son off at the airport this morning. It was so great to have him home. The time went by so fast as I knew it would. Now, all I have left are beautiful moments, which I can look back on with fond memories. It's going to take a little while for the separation anxiety to let go.

Linda, My husband and I drove my son when he arrived there. I swear I said I wasn't going to cry, but when we hugged goodbye..I couldn't stop the tears. It is amazing how much they grow up, and yes commit themselves to there Job, and Country. The Navy will take care of him. There Motto is: Work smart not Hard! Lol  well he is now on to what he has trained for over the past year. Hooyah to him, and God Bless them All!

Spent the day packing up my sailor to leave. He said mom I have enjoyed being home but I am ready to get to my next command and get started on quals. Sad to see him leave but happy to see his commitment. Feeling blessed that we had this Christmas together as a family. Proud of him and all who serve.

Merry Christmas to all. To all that did not get to be with their sailors or other family members I hope you were able to at least have a phone call.

Happy New and Safe 2015.

Merry Christmas to all sub families!  Many of us are without our sailors this year but it will be great when they get back.  Enjoy every moment with your loved ones and you will have good memories for the times they are deployed.  I guess you could say we are all in the same boat!  Stay safe!

Merry Christmas to all the Navy moms and their families. This has been a strange Christmas this year as it's the first one without my sailor since he was born. I'm getting regular emails and he's really loving his job so what more could a mom ask for!

Merry Christmas too all the Navy Families here, Thinking about all of us who have loved ones that cannot be with us during the Holidays. There is comfort in knowing that they are safe, in not such a safe world at times. Remember this, although you may not hear from them,  know that they are thinking about you. God Bless everyone, and Hooyah to the Greatest Navy in the World!
