OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi Ladies - if you go to "EVENTS" and look at June 11th - you and your spouses have been invited to dinner by the Navy but we need headcounts to select the restaurant.

The MCPON Rick West will be attending the dinner. He is the Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy.

Hi neighbors! I'm a Georgia mom but got information this morning that the Navy has scheduled a Fleet Week to take place in Chattanooga, June 5 -13. I've posted the details in a thread above for your group and I am communicating with them to get more specific information that I will be happy to share when it is available.

I am going to plan a GA mom gathering that weekend in Chattanooga and hope that perhaps we can all gather.
