Hello, I'm Melinda from Lewisville (between the D and the FW). My son is a senior in HS and has just completed MEPS and has been accepted into Nuke. He is due to ship out in January, however we were told that he'll probably be asked to go earlier. Very proud!

Hi, I'm Rachael from Bulverde, north of San Antonio. 2 of my sons are in the Navy, 1 in BC right now with a PIR of 4/14. So excited! My middle son has been in for 5 1/2 years and has been stationed in Hawaii since he finished Nuke school. I'm super proud of both boys and can't wait to see where the Navy takes them.

I hadn't heard from my son for about 4 weeks.   My first phone call came on a Saturday around 5:00 pm.   It was like i won the lottery.   All i could do was cry because it was so good to hear his voice.

The first weeks they are busy from sun up to sun down and exhausted. Studying, drilling, marching.   Send him letters of encouragement.   I wrote my son every day.

When he graduates, is so well worth it.   Southwest Airlines has little to no change fee.

My son's PIR is April 21st. Ship 14 Div 128. I haven't received a phone call or letter (except for the "form" letter) yet, should I be concerned? I so would like to hear something, anything!
