OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

skewers...  I have metal ones (they don't burn) and can be used many times (I have had mine for almost 30 years now).

Good morning Texas Mommas ~ enjoying these cooler temps this morning:-) Now if we could just get some much needed rain all would be good!

txsailorsam - enjoy your visit; happy for you!

Talked to Ryan last night and he is almost done with O'strand class in P'cola. He currently has a 96.6 GPA and is anxiously waiting for his orders; keeping my fingers crossed!

This time tomorrow I will be with Sam in SD. I cannot wait. This has been a hellish couple of days, the break is so welcomed.

Lamarmama- enjoyed meeting you at Ramada. My son is in San Antonio now and he said the guys that went with him are already complaining about the heat! They don't have a clue what's coming! This is only springtime!!

Lamarmama!!! HooYah! Your son is with mine now! I am going to be taking my son's car to him in May and flying home. What job/rate is yours studying for? Mine is ET... My son said he misses getting the letters I used to send, even though we Skype every day! LOL!
