For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

hello moms of faith, my 2nd son has left for BC july 6,2016 and so far so good. i have been blessed with 3 children and 2 now in the navy. I'm thankful to have come across this group. i am not really a computer person so i may get lost at time so forgive me ahead a time. god bless

We're glad to be part of a group with so many moms and dads of faith! My husband and I live in Virginia Beach, VA.-we have for the past 15 years! We came here for the express purpose to open our home and invite sailors, soldiers and marines to come over on the weekends. We feed them and play board games with them and sometimes do special activities like attending re-enactments, go to Williamsburg-especially on Veterans Day weekend(it's free for all military) and we have a great time seeing history alive. :). John is a retired Navy Chaplain. He spent 10 years enlisted and 10 years as a Chaplain. So the military is in our hearts and souls. We even met at a Christian Servicemen's Center in California. :)
Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and trust him to keep your sons and daughters in his care. :)

Hello all from Mcsherrystown, PA!! I was looking for a Catholic Moms group and couldn't find one. Faith is an important part of my families life, so I am glad that I found this group of Moms. I have two Sailors...one in Norfolk and my baby is in Rota Spain. We are a Military family for sure. I retired after serving 23 years in the Army. I have 2 stepsons that served 4 and 6 years in the Army also. If it weren't for the grace of God, I don't know how we would have made it this far. My husband didn't serve, but was the backbone of this family, and made sure everything...even when it felt overwhelming and out of control...went according to our life plan. I credit God for giving him the strength to handle such a crazy life!

My son will be leaving for BC on 4.15.15. From Houston. I know God's got this but I continue to pray for his walk with The Lord to grow stronger everyday. My husband, daughter, and myself have never been away from him like this. His excitement makes it easier, however; I can't imagine his absence and missing his presence in our home. God please be with him everyday and all the other recruits and cover our entire military with your protective hedge. #proudtexasmomma #sisterinchrist

My son shipped to GL yesterday for BC. So proud of the work God is doing in his life, but really miss him. Praying for the entire Navy :)

Hello. My sailor is training to be an RP. Pray for him to get closed to Jesus and do what Jesus wants him to do? Thanks. May all of the Christian sailors make a difference where they are stationed.

Hello. My son has been in GL since July. During basic training he attended service on Sundays. Now he is in ATT and will be in GL til next year. He came home for the holidays and attended service with us but is not attending in GL. I would like to know if someone's son/daughter can invite him to service in GL base if they have. We are contemporary Christians. We attend a bible based church. We listen to preachers like Chuck Swindoll and Pastor James MacDonald...Thank you and God bless!
