AZ Navy moms, bootcamp moms, future Navy moms, join us in Phoenix on Sunday, August 3rd,for another fun get-together! These luncheon meet & greets are always a great time. Macayo's on Central has given us a private room for our event. We also have a few options: for 30+ people, it's only $15.00 per person includes everything but alcohol, with three items to chose from, all the beans and rice, drinks, tip and fee for the room. For a group fewer then 30 people. it will be what ever you want. Sarah needs to know a count by July 25th, so please RSVP to her at 951-310-0226. Thanks and hope to see you there! Hi Tucson Navy Moms! If you'd like to plan a day in Phoenix, here's an upcoming event :)
Our friend RADM Scott Sanders (Ret.), whom many of you have met at two AZ Navy Moms events, has been invited by Governor Brewer to be the featured speaker on Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day in Phoenix for the dedication of Arizona's new WWII Memorial "Salute the Fallen."
Guns from USS Arizona and USS Missouri will also be dedicated as part of the new Memorial, and Sea Cadets from Arizona and Missouri will be in attendance.
What: Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day and World War II Memorial "Salute the Fallen" Dedication Ceremony
Where: Wesley Bolin Memorial Plaza, downtown Phoenix
When: Saturday, December 7, 2013, 9:15 a.m.
If you'd like a chance to win a flight on the restored WWII B-17 flying fortress "Sentimental Journey," make a donation to support the Memorial at http://gunstosalutethefallen.com. Winners will be announced at the event.
RADM Sanders is a wonderful speaker, and this will be a great family event!
