Imagine if you will that you met another Navy Mom. At a packing party. Imagine at your work place if you met a new face and just couldn't place them, but you KNEW you knew them....
If you thought the world was small before - Kathleen (jonis's mom) is with the new rehab folks at the Nursing Center and rehab that I work at. I met her in Waco when we packed boxes for Molly's adopt a sailor packing party, and my husband was with me. Welcome to Grace Care Kathleen!!!!

Ha yep. I left at 7am on a Tueaday and got there Wed afternoon at 2 and then when I left, I left the hotel at 5am, two hour train ride and a flight at 9am, got to my layover and had 3 flight delays equaling 9 hours and was back still the same day at 5pm. I was exhausted!

Yep, either 14 or 15 hours. Sometimes it was 16 if they're out to sea and depending on what time zone they are. Mainly 14 plus or minues a few at times. Its like you're talking to the future :)

What is the time difference between Yokosuka, Japan and the Central US timezone?

Thanks girls! We'll have to talk with him and come up with a solution that works for everyone.

Hi Diann! My husband didn't use a cell phone there for very long. Minutes are expensive there for Japanese phones. Do the prepaid or go through skype to call. Skyping and fb video chat works very well too. Rob was able to call from the ship as well often and he got internet at the fleet rec which is right across from where they're docked so it was handy. Otherwise he used friends places as well.
