He washes it all together and I let him do it once at my parents back in December and almost had a heart attack! I said that's why your "white" socks are all gray!ph

Ha I'll have to wait and see if it happens and if it does how long it will last! Its only fair if I'm working and doing the laundry -I've seen how he does it and he will never touch it lol. Or at least not with my clothes! Thanks for the prayers and well wishes. Its hasn't always been easy, I'm just looking for some normality and be able to live your lives. Can't believe we've been married 8 months already!

Ha ha that is so true. He's never lived with a girl so this I'm sure wil be a treat! We used to skype when he lived in his Juebon room and he'd always do dishes after he made food and he's excited to cook. He even bought two cookbooks! Plus he'll be home while I'm at work so I'll be interested to see what he gets done lol.

Yeah Linn you'll definitely want to go to Yokohama. I thought the ferris wheel was pretty awesome. If you want some more good places to see, let me know. And yes Kathy, Rob will be done with the Navy! And yes Blondie living together finally too! I can't wait. Its only next for you to get some good news. His leave orders were for November so they're plugging along. Kathy sounds like you guys are having a great time. It goes by so fast though. Glad you are all enjoying and making it the best trip for you. Blondie that's so weird about the teeth related to her accident! Who would've thought. I had a wisdom tooth come in a few months back and its still just hanging out in there :) Hope all goes well for everyone and the sailors get all rested up this week before they leave.

I am so excited for you Linn :) I'm doing a countdown of my own - Rob will be stateside to start processing out this Wednesday!! It is finally starting to sink in yet I know I don't have the full grasp for it. Just gotta make it through the next week and a half and things will finally be good.

I always tell Katie Worrying is in a mom's job description LOL!!! It's great when the other Sailors help them out!! When we flew to Japan my hubby had on his Blue Ridge Hat and at the airport a guy walked up to us and asked are u on the Blue Ridge my hubby laughed and said nope our daughter was and that we were going to see her he asked who she was we told him he said I know who she is, he was returning from leave and he walked us through customs it helped us a lot!!!

Congrats Kathy! That is such an exciting feeling. Don't get too busy now and get burnt out. Gotta have that one day of relaxing. I can't wait to get that relaxing time that's for sure! Good luck! I found a 4 leaf clover today so here's hoping for everything and everyone :)

The flight home was awful. Had to take the train the two and a half hours or so by mhself since Rob had duty, ended up giving myself a black eye because my bag snagged one of the train handles when I was putting my bag up when I was saying goodbye, waited an hour at the airport, the long flight back to the states, then what turned into an almost 9 hour layover with 3 flight delays only to fly not even an hour home. The ride back? Definitely thee worst part.
