Hi Maria Welcome to the Blue Ridge Family,

add me as your friend I'll send ya the address info in a message.

This group is awesome!! We are always trying to help each other out, what 1 person don't know another might!! I have found that most of the guys don't communicate like the girls do. My daughter calls home at least once a week. When they are underway we usually don't hear from them as often. We almost always know where they are because there FB page usually has pics. of where they are at and what they have done there. Feel free to ask us anything we are here to Help!! Bigg Hugggsss

Welcome Maria! The communication all depends. I hear from y husband everyday with phone and email. Its nice that its a communications ship and its available. I'm sure the girlfriend part is hard and yes while some relationships crumble, some become stronger like mine. You don't want to force anything, just like the Navy you have to take it all in stride. Japan is definitely amazing, I went in April. My husband has been there the whole time and waiting on orders to come home!

I'm not sure on the latest from the Boxers sailor and hope Blondies daughter is doing well, just a minor battle (I hope) with the reef with the reef winning. The Blue Ridge should be pullng into their next port in a few days too.
