And, they don 't get any easier ash, sorry to say.  We just manage it better!

Sorry to hear - Kathy and Kathy.  Patrick has known for a year that my dad has dementia, and when he broke his hip, I took care of them from April to April. But I've got a 12-14 hour a day job now and work most week-ends too.  He just fell again and is in the hospital.  They think he had a stroke.  He had a quad 15 yrs ago, and he can't breathe even taking a few steps gets pooped out.  He is starting not to recognize people, and he wants his car back so he can buy a plane, and wants to paint the driveway green with a 1/2 inch paintbrush.  He was measuring the driveway to figure out how much paint to buy......

But he's a big hero, long story in space/air aviation, and a genius.  They won't let him come back home and my mom has been having someone come in the house for $260 a day.  Jeez.  I laughed and told her she got me cheap;   Free.

Talked to my sailor, he's doing better. I think they left again too, not sure where they're going and back next week. I did make it back and was the longest, hardest day of my life. 3 hour train ride to the airport by myself because they all had duty the Sunday I left since they had to get the ship ready to leave that Tuesday, an hour at the airport, 12 hour flight to chicago, spending almost 9 hours there and 3 flight delays then finally home after an hour flight. Miserable day. Took a little to get back in the swing of things and feels like it was forever ago that I was there. I'm more than thankful for the time I was there and it gave me a preview of what life would be like when he's home. It was ana amazing trip and I wish I could go back and visit again soon.
