They did allow them off the ship, I think they were all going stir crazy!! 14 days at sea is a long time for them. I got an email from Katie and she did say she got off the ship for a little while.

I got more than 2 words today. I asked him if he needed anything and he said the store is sold out and even the mess decks are running out. He said they are getting sick of rice.

I'm up near Sacramento CA and the packages I've sent have got there within 3 days sometimes longer, but most of the time pretty fast for us who live in CA :)))

Don't know about your kids, but mine is ALWAYS wanting Hostess cakes. He say they can't get Twinkies in Japan, so I always send him those. I didn't hear anything about this from Mike, but he's like that. I'm off to the store to see what I can get for them now. Anybody have a way to get them to the kids quick?? I use the flat rate boxes at USPS, but Mike says it's overnight from San Diego To San Francisco, and then "it's any way the navy wants to get it to you" from there.

I heard from Katie on Friday she said send food mom our little store on the ship was running low on snacks, so my mom and I both fixed up snack boxes and sent them yesterday. She said they are all fine just bored!!  I told her they are safer at sea even though they are bored she said yeah I know. I think they should all do another talent show that would keep them occupied!!
