I see where the BR has won 4 Ney awards in the past but 2 consecutive ones in the last two years.  Congrats to our CS'  ..  That is a huge accomplishment, but then, how'd you like them to NOT win the award with it being a command ship?  LOL   JK

Hi Everyone,

I heard from Katie the other night. She was telling me about all the trouble everyone's been getting into, she said that 2 guys got kicked out for drugs, that's sad. She said several people got into trouble because of drinking, I think they've been in port too long!! She says they were supposed to be pulling out the day after the Super Bowl but now they are leaving on Super Bowl Sunday. She said the CO changed his mind, I said well yeah because he wants u all to make it to the ship and not be hung over!! She said you are probably right I didn't think about that. She is in her new division now. Did any of your Sailors change divisions like her? She's now in computer hard wear. It's crazy how they sent her for all of that schooling last year only for her to be taken out of that division!! I know Stacey's son Brett is in her division.

Talked to Katie on Friday and she said they'd be heading out sometime this week and they'd be gone about a week just testing the ship out.

I know it's not just the ship, it's probably the base someone is not doing there job!!! Last year after she re-upped it took them 5 months before they had her paperwork straightened out.
It's just frustrating!!

OK I've been waiting all week to find out where they go next right??? Katie called this morning upset because they called the Detailer only to find out that Her Ship didn't submit her paperwork!!!!! She is sooo pissed and now she has to wait until Monday to resolve this problem!!! I felt sooo badd for her, her hubby could choose a ship but that will only be held temporarily so who knows what will happen, it didn't surprise me when she said they didn't have her paperwork that seems to be typical of this ship they are always losing it or something, it seems that people don't do there jobs on this ship when it comes to getting the paperwork done!!!!! She said mom I stood right there and watched my LPO send my paperwork so whoever it went to next didn't do anything with it!!! She will be sooo glad to get the heck off of this ship she said she's never seen a ship this unorganized!!! You'd think for being the Admiral's ship it wouldn't be like this at all, but I guess that means nothing!!! OK sorry to vent I'm done now yup I'm a little upset!!!!!!
