Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

We heard from him last night. He made E-5, so we have a FC2 in the house! I wish he was in the house. He passed but didn't advance (PNA'd) twice, and had the highest grades, but the advancement rate for FC's was only 20%. They raised that a little, and it helped many to advance.

Hey Kathy, can't wait to see pictures and hear of your adventures. Let me know if you see my boy. He says he's a grown up man, but he's my little boy in my heart, and I'd love to hear from him. Hint hint. You know, he hangs around with his fellow FC's and the GM's are always trying to get him into trouble, LOL!!!!
Wow Linn, 3 wks in Newport. My brother that was in the Navy for 20 yrs lived in Providence and this time of year is snow snow snow.
Brrrr. Us too. Havn't seen ours for 15-16 months. We were hoping he'd be back in San Diego for more schooling, it was planned, but he has to get some waiver or some such.

I'm so happy and excited for everyone! Have a good time in Japan. My son wants me to come over next year but I am a bit of a chicken! The 1st time I flew was to his PIR.

Hi Everyone,
I'm here in Japan we spent today just checking out the Base.
Tomorrow we are going to the Imperial Palace. It was sooo good to get that first Hugggggg!!! We are going to the Honsh tonight for Karaoke and drinks. The plane ride was long LOL We flew Singapore Airlines and they treated us great plus all of the free alcohol u wanted we didn't find that out until we were half way threw the trip LOL

9 days until I get on that plane!!!! Talked with Katie the other night and she was telling me how to fill out the customs form on the plane LOL I said Katie we have a week and a half yet she said I know mom but I'm soooo excited!!!
