Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I ask what he does and he says nothing. Where you been? Nowhere really. Whatcha doing now? On the computer.

Yes, we did all that, went to tons of museums, musicals, plays, etc., and I did the mommy teaching him the songs to sing in church and watch the old ladies in church cry...

Glad things are going well.
I don't have to worry about her being on the ship but I worry about all of Our Sailors on the BR. Katie's hubby is in K town as he says it on deployment too.
Gee it sounds like Ramos and Katie need to get together and have a Sing A-long, about 6 months ago she was playing her Disney CD in her office LOL, she said and yes they guys were singing.

We are going Nov. 18th - Dec. 2 Katie said she was asking Jonis to come for Thanksgiving too :)) so if u were there that would be awesome!!! I think we arrive on Nov. 19th we leave CA on the 18th

So glad you all are hearing from them!!
It seems soo weird Katie not being on the ship, her hubby just left for as he says it K town LOL, she said it is weird her staying home and Matt going on Deployment.

Lost my Uncle in Luzon, Phillippines on the 3rd day of battle in WWII. My brother did a map and graphed the military ops etc.
