I saw the pic of Jonis also, I think he's the 2nd one from the right right?
Linn, I'm right there with ya, not even going to family Thanksgiving, just staying home with hubby and lazing around. Would not be great company to the rest of the brood, so its better to have a pity party in private, LOL! and maybe do some riding in the arena, that would cheer me up.

Hey Everyone, this group is soo great!!! it pays to let our kids know about it too. Last night I was sitting here watching TV and my phone rings and it's Katie she said I just got to talk to Kathleen, I said how did u do that on FB she said nope on the phone, she said that Jonis was talking to his mom and they passed each other on ship and he said hey want to talk to the person who started the BR group she was like OK, so she and Kathleen got to chat for a few mins. then they got cut off. Then Katie said great I better go call my mom because you know your mom will let her know she talked to me LOL :)))
So Kathleen
tell Jonis Thank You because of him I got a phone call too!!! :)))
I just hope you got to talk to him before you guys got cut off.

I finally heard from Katie last night too. It had been since she was in Vietnam since we spoke last. They will be home by Thursday. It is great seeing all of the pics of everyone's sailors, what's especially neat is that we all let each other know when we see them so in case we missed the 1 of our own sailor we can go and see it!!
Linn I dread every Holiday without her especially since she's my only child it makes it very hard, It never gets easier. This will be her 3rd Christmas without us, I'm just happy she has Matthew so she's not totally alone.
Kathy yes that is always the hardest putting them back on the plane not knowing when you'll see them next. I'm glad we have this group it really does help to know that we all know how each other feels!!
