OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hey BR Moms I noticed another Mom on the Yokosuka site trying to get a hold of her son, here's some info. for you that Katie & Matt gave me while home. If you ever have an emergency and need to get in touch with your Sailor you have to call the American Red Cross here's the number 1-877-272-7337 Katie has told me that if there is ever a death or an emergency the Red Cross will contact the ship and get in touch with them.
