Kathy, CONGRATULATIONS!  I know you are so happy to have your daughter home!  Reading about her surprising her brother sent chills over me.  How sweet for all of you!  Very happy to hear your good news.

I received two emails from him, both short but at least I know he is doing well!

Thanks Linn. We see evidence he is still connecting to Facebook and that helps some. They are in Cambodia now.

I like the Facebook page since that has been the only way I know where my son is. Have any of you gone through the phase where your son hasn't been in touch? It seems like he will talk to his dad more than me and he wasn't like that. I am not liking this phase of his life!

Hi all! I saw Linn on the Facebook page about your daughter, congrats! You must be excited. Three hours may seem like a ways but hey - you can make it in one day and back and that's more than you can say about Japan!

Hi Everyone,

it's been awhile since I've been on Katie left the BR in Oct.

Welcome to all of the Newbies!! You'll love this group!!!

Congrats Ashgrove!!! You and Rob must be so excited!!!

Katie was hoping to get pregnant but they only had 2 months together before Matt got underway with his ship he's on the USS Sterett he won't be back until July so maybe they'll have luck then!!

Katie is loving her new command and doing good there, they just bought a house in Chula Vista Ca. they are about 20 mins from the Base, she works on Coronado.

Hope everyone is doing good!!
