We just talked to Katie and she said that she was working and she felt the earthquake, said everything was moving. Katie calls home quite often from the ship, I'm not sure if it's a calling card she's using or what it always shows up as a 808 # and says AT&T however she does have her cell phone too. I thought they were already underway but she said they won't be leaving until after the Tsunami passes.

We have Earthquakes and Tsunami's to worry about. I remember when Katie first got to Japan she called and said they were sent home because there was a Tsunami warning, I said are you safe she was like yesssss mom if it gets real bad we know what to do. It was no big deal to her but I was worried, I thought great I have earthquakes and Tsunami's to worry about too. I haven't heard from Katie as to if she felt it or not. But they are underway so like Kristina she won't know until she gets back or her hubby gets home. He is currently on deployment too.

Kathleen,
Katie & Jonis ran into each other 1 time when he was standing watch or she was I'm not sure but they did meet, then they found out that they did In processing together. I'd think the girls would have a good chance at running into each other since there is very few of them on the ship. I'll ask Katie if she knows Kristina. Linn you'll get the hang of all of this in no time you'll be a Navymom addict like us!! Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Hi Everyone,
OK I see this is new!! A USS Blue Ridge Group YEAHHHH!!!
I didn't even know this group existed, TY Kathy for telling me about it. TY Kathleen for starting it!! Katie & Matt were home for a visit June 19 - July 5th, it was so nice having them home. Last time they were home together was when they got married and that was very busy and we never got the chance to enjoy them as much. This time we did!! Hope everyone's Sailors are all doing well!! I'll have to look back at all the comments on here to see what I've been missing LOL!!

I put this on the Yokosuka group. They are pictures and I've found the videos great too. Personally the person who was supposed to help my son with his transition has not returned any of his calls, so I think this site is helpful. TEll me what you think.
