I just scanned and emailed my form.

@ccNavyMom - You may want to send the Ombudsman an email and ask them how to handle sending it. My tech skills only go so far.

@kab I use her military email she had told me that although they will be able to write emails they may not get sent straight away depending on where they are are and if there is any service!  And thank you for your well wishes!  I have the dentist email from when he contacted me before after they moved her appointment to today!

And the dentist yes either theyor the ombudsman will I have to say whenever I have contacted the ombudsman since she joined the ship in november last year have always responded to me pretty much immediately and think they are doing a great job!!

@cheffiona -- hope your daughter does well today -- they (dental dept) may contact you after the surgery. Will say a few prayers for her -

Do you use the military email or their regular email adress. I don't have my LO military email address.

Good morning

After speaking to yesterday and the will only be able to send emails but dont know when etc i sent her one before i went to sleep last night and I woke up this am to one from her lol  Was I suprised she was doing ok-she said! Was just finishing a load of laundry and was going to bed, and not looking forward to dentist today!  No packages had got there yet but i did not think they would first one was mailed day after deployment but she had stuff for me which she bought in Hawaii and was trying to see if she can mail it to me I told her not to worry about that right now!  And she wanted me to say hi to everyone!

If there is a way for her to email/text/call/skype etc lol she will find it!  wtg Bridgette!!  I stayed positive when she called yesterday and did not get upset on the phone I could tell she was but I did not want to make her feel worse I waited till after the call lol

Gonna fill out the form this am  and try and send it also!

@cheffiona - we will all be thinking of Bridgette tomorrow. She'll be fine, but I know you'll worry until you hear.

My daughter was here all evening and I knew she was having a hard time. She said when he called this morning she was crying and he asked her not to do that. It's hard on him. An emotional day for everyone. Just have to get use to the new routine. No question, we are going to miss him. Good Night All.

@Michelle -glad you got a few words in with your son. This is a tough time for all of us and I'm sure everyone on board as well.  I went to two different post offices to see if they might be different. Only the large box gets the discount. No explanation.

His phone has been turned off now so that really makes it hard. He always would text his Mom and give me a call. When any one of us hears from them I feel like all of us do.

@ccNavyMom - I filled out the basics for emergency reasons. I put NA where they asked for spouse info. The problem is that you can print the form but not save it with the data. They suggested trying to "save as" and to a pdf then attach that to an email to them. Didn't work for me. I may try to scan it tomorrow and see if that works. I'll let you know.
