Thank you all for the support it does make it easier knowing that we have others to lean on. I wish that I could talk to him, but he shut his phone down before he left to avoid a large bill like when he was TDY in 09.

Does anyone know why the post office only gives a discount on the large flat rate boxes and not the medium?

I am wrapping up the care package to send off in the morning. The first of many. Hope it won't take too long to get there. Thank you all for being there.

That is the nice thing about this group is that we all have each other and can be here for one another. Best wishes and safe travel for our sailors. We will miss them and will be looking forward to their safe return.

@ Michelle, I'm sure they will work through it for you. Hopefully soon. The "waiting" and not knowing part of the Navy is a bit hard to get use to. I have to exercise such patience. So glad you are all here as we travel through this period together.

Just heard from daughter on fb!  She is fine and NO NOT ALLOWED TO SAY WHERE THEY ARE GOING AND I DID NOT ASK SO I CAN HONESTLY SAY I DONT KNOW WHERE SHE IS GOING

But she did say to email her and she will email back when she can!

I was surprised to get it actually. I must have gotten on a list somewhere. If you email the Ombudsman with your request I'm sure that's all it takes. You can also call them. lsd45ombudsman@yahoo.com.  Good luck.
