I can send emails but I have not received an email in a couple of weeks. Has anybody heard from their son?
USS Dewert Fams, I share your excitement...soooo much. I can't wait to see my son. I hope I dont embarass him when I hug him as tight as I possibly can:o) I spoke with someone at the base and there is a candlelight vigil th enight before. They informed me that when it get closer to the time they will have more details.
It would be really nice of we could coordinate a meet and greet for the parents prior to our children, spouses returning. If anyone is interested, please let me know and I will look in to a restaurant where we can meet maybe the day before.
Be blessed.
CherBear, do you have a son or Daughter on the ship? I have a son.
Has anyone having trouble getting emails from their sons or daughters lately?
My son wants to sleep in a comfortable bed and sleep in...Wants a small party for his close friends and family with music and a fire in the fire pit....may be cold for a fire in March in Indiana but whatever he wants....the hot tub will help keep him warm...Only a few more weeks. Can't wait.
CherBear...My son signed us up to be at port when they arrive along with some other family members. Ask him if he put your name down...I am sure he did!!!! I think they are all anxious to get home, maybe even more so than us wanting them here.... that is hard to imagine...I miss him sooooo much...
Our young men are headed home!!! Have been counting down for a long time now. Have our flight booked, hotel set, can't wait. My son has signed his dad up for the Tiger Cruise and I believe the dates are as previously stated as April 30-May 2. Anyone hear about a candlelight vigil on the night before the ship arrives? Any details would be appreciated. Thanks
I hadn't heard the dates but knew there was a Tiger Cruise. It should be lots of fun!!
Found out the possible Tiger Cruise Dates April 30-May 2 from Port Everglades
Thanks for the pic Nikki. I'm so glad that they finally got some of their packages. My son still has 3 packages out there somewhere.
