fierssej, thanks for posting that. Gives some hope that they are not lost for good.
My son did receive one of my packages and a letter. Pacakge still out there osmewehre and a few other letters. Guess will make it on the next shipment!
Mine didn't get anything, he's still missing two packages. Says all the mail they brought on has been sorted and distributed. Wonder where the missing mail is?
My hubby got one of his packages too. There is still one out there. I asked him what his favorite thing was in the package and he said it was a tied between the nutter butters and new underwear. Ha.
Sounds like she's munchin' on that care package, Tonya! Good to hear all showed up in one piece.
Anyone remember the old films Mr. Rogers used to show on his show on how things were made? I would love to see a film on a care package from start to finish. Show a loved one shopping, packing, taking it to the post office and what it goes through from there until it reaches the sailor's hands overseas. Show the good, the bad and the ugly so loved ones understand why things should be packaged in a certain way and why certain things should not be sent (liquids).
Ahh my husband got his package today and I sent him some Hershey kisses for "a kiss good night" and he said they came in tact and not melted......Ahhh but no more chocolate since I dont want it to melt.
lo_lo60...I just read your post from earlier and thought I would tell you that I ordered my son a navy rack pack back on 2/17 and unless he got it today, it hasn't made it to him yet. I don't know that there is a problem with the company, but I will say it's very hard to get ahold of them. I tried over and over with phone messages and emails just to find out if my order had been received and when it was expected to ship. I finally got an email back saying it was in queue for embroidery, but never did find out how much longer it would be before it shipped.
