Hello ladies! I heard from my sailor a week ago and he said he would call again over the weekend. Well weekend came & went and no phone call. Weren't they suppose to pull into port? Mine is probably enjoying food and beer and not even thinking about calling home LOL I've always told him though to never give up sleep or the opportunity to have fun just to call home. I'll eventually hear from him again.
Cool pic BeachBunny! Love seeing the entire ship & jets in same pic
Yep, there are some mighty fine sailors on the RR. I'm confident they will continue to do a great job in Japan.
Hi Aster and welcome to the group! My sailor requests food. He's a coffee drinker so when they've been underway for a while I send coffee and sugar (he's not a happy camper when they run out LOL) and I have been known to send TP too!!
I saw this article well, working out :http://www.navy.mil/submit/display.asp?story_id=91331...love the Navy app...
Thought this group would find it interesting, since I didn't realize 2/3 of the GW crew crossed over to the RR...my sailor was on deployment on the RR and CV carriers...said there's a reason the GW is going in, needs some updating and TLC....lol

Hi happy to join this group, my son was on the Reagan for a short time. Need ideas of items to send...he doesn't tell me what he wants or needs. Wipes make sense! :) Only sends one or two emails a week, 1 short paragraph, guess he is emailing his girlfriend with info :)
Our sailor got all 3 packages at once, mailed them a week apart. Asked what he wants in his next package, TP and wipes. Their TP on ship is like sand paper. I got a good chuckle out of that one.
LOL and he probably thinks he was doing good just to send the email! Gotta love 'em!!!
oh, those "boys", got a 6 word email "early" this morning....well, I'll take it as 2 words were "love ya"....:)
