OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

hi sueS! i'll check out the link here in just a sec. it just seems that everywhere i called does not give a refund due to changes in the navy's schedule. i can't really say on this website exactly when and where i'll be going, but hopefully soon!. :)

Thanks bobdot...those are so cool. I love how the jets are painted up to represent their specific airwings.
Millye.....poor Claire...Kelcie just got off nights! The worst part is that they work all night then have to stay up for GQ. And when they have cleaning stations, they get woken up to take part also. That's just wrooooonnnng. But they are young, and they survive :>)

Does anyone know the correct format for the ships mailing address?

Just had a phone call from Kelcie....she said they are safe and sound, it is VERY hectic aboard right now. The people of S. Korea were wonderful. It was a pretty decent ship to shore connection and SOOOOO wonderful to hear her voice :>)

Mary....Molly's adopt-a-sailor is awesome!! I encourage EVERYONE to check it out.
snowmom...my daughters "person in charge of her berthing" wouldn't let her hang her rackpack across the front of her rack, so Kelcie put it against the back wall. That's how she figured out a way to make use of hers despite opposition. She loves it, even if she doesn't get to use it to it's full extent.

Thomas's Mom....."friend" request me. I'm so techno non-savvy it's pathetic. I heard back from my nephew the JAG officer. I need some info from you :>)

actually, you have to email them your sailor's info (it tells you what they need). then they send an email to the sailor to confirm you are related and THEN they add you to their list. :)
